Enrollment for the Spring 2010 Short-Term Courses is now open! The following schedules may be downloaded (Adobe Acrobat Reader required for viewing).

There are four easy ways to enroll:

  • Mail In: Mail your registration and payment to 1801 South Eleventh Street, Alva, OK 73717.

Class sizes are limited and fill on a first come, first serve basis.

Golf Basics

Bring your clubs and join us Fore a Teerific time golfing! Learn the basics of golf with "hands-on" instruction with Steve Parkhurst. Classes meet at Alva Golf and Country Club. Range balls and a round of golf included. Golf Basics is a hole lot of fun, enroll today!

Dog Obedience/Intermediate Dog Obedience/Dog Tricks

Is your hound pound bound? Just can't get the pup to stop jumping up? Don't fret let us help train your pet. Unleash your dog's potential with our series of dog obedience classes. Taught by Laura Radford, a certified dog instructor. Enroll early, class size is limited.

Safety Essentials

Reduce accidents, lower insurance rates, and help keep your employees safe! Safety Essentials is held the 1st Monday & Tuesday of each month from 9am-4pm. After successful completion of the course, your employees will have their 10 hour OSHA Certification and their American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification. Send 1 or 20, this open enrollment class is ideal for employees of small businesses. Call by the 28th of the month to enroll in the next month's classes. The cost is only $20 per person.

Zumba

Zumba is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements. Zumba integrates some of the basic principles of aerobic, intervals, and resistance training to maximize cardio output, cardio-vascular benefits, and total body toning.

Photoshop

With Photoshop more than any other product on the market today you can lose weight, replace hair loss, remove wrinkles, increase your bust size and straighten those crooked teeth! Don’t believe us? Just look at the pictures!

Carrying Concealed Weapons Training

Oklahoma law (Title 21 O.S. 1290.3) recognizes the right for citizens to defend themselves from possible threats to their lives. Train to receive a license to lawfully carry a concealed handgun. Oklahoma State DeBureau of Investigation eligibility requires a person to be a U.S. citizen, current legal resident of Oklahoma, at least 21 years of age, complete an approved OSBI safety training course or provide proof of exemption. Complete fingerprints and an OSBI background check are required. This class is an approved OSBI safety training course.
