The following Career Plan materials are available. The Career Plans are a "work in progress" and will be updated periodically.
1) Steps for Developing a Career Plan (PDF document or MS Word document). This file was used during a staff meeting in May 2007 in which the instructors worked on developing a Career Plan for the Cluster covered in their current program.
2) Career Plans of Study by Career Cluster (MS Word or PDF documents). These Career Plans of Study were developed from May to August 2007 based on the outcomes of a meeting in May (see #1 above for the resources used in developing these plans). These Career Plans are not updated with the October 1 changes.
Each Career Plan for each Cluster provides the following:
- Career Majors available at NW Tech within that Cluster
- Opportunities available for two-year and four-year degrees with colleges and universities, especially in Alliance
- Short-term training options available
- Industry certifications or state licensures targeted through training
- Work-based learning opportunities available through training

3) Career Plans of Study for sending schools with individualized suggested high school courses (MS Word documents). Northwest Technology Center counselors are working with sending school counselors to individualize the Career Plans to meet the needs of each school. Some of the current work in progress is provided below.
