Class Participants Ready for Holidays
Don’t you love the smell of holiday pies baking in the oven? Can’t you just taste the cinnamon and sugar and the flaky crust? Students enrolled in Northwest Technology Center’s “Holiday Pie Baking” course were anxious to get busy rolling out their pies and baking them.

The class was taught by Sally Eggleston of Waynoka and held at her home. This two-night course covered making a single crust pie (either pecan, lemon chess or pumpkin) on the first night and making a double crust fruit pie on the second night. Eight students were enrolled in the class.

Students provided their own pie pans and rolling pins. Supplies and ingredients were included in the fees for the class.
A second “Pie Baking” course is slated to begin on February 8, 2010. Enrollment for the class is available beginning on Monday, December 7. For more information, contact Northwest Technology Center at 580.327.0344.
