ASSESSMENT WORKSHOPS

Self-Directed Search

Assesses interests as they relate to the world of work. One 2 - hour session. For information call the Career Center at (580) 327-0375.

VALPAR

Criterion - referenced computerized assessment designed to establish degrees of work-related and academic skills. One 2 - hour session. For information, call the Career Center at (580) 327-0375.

COPSystem

Career assessments which relate interests, abilities and work values to 14 career clusters. Assessments help individuals who are making career changes or just beginning to explore career opportunities. One 2 - hour session. For information, call the Career Center at (580) 327-0375.

TABE

Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) measures skills in reading, language usage, and mathematics. The test is available in two formats:

* Computer administered

* Paper/pencil

McCarron-Dial Evaluation System

Assessment consists of three components:

* Pencil/paper

* Visual discrimination

* Gross motor testing
